Youth Birders: Augustine Wildlife Area – Ashton Tract

This January, we’re headed to southern New Castle County to explore Delaware’s winter waterfowl! We will start with a stop at the viewing platform overlooking Thousand Acre Marsh, then explore the adjacent forests and fields. Besides ducks, geese, and swans, we’ll also be keeping an eye out for overwintering songbirds, raptors, and maybe even a sandhill crane or two.
