Cape Henlopen Fall Migrants with Chris Bennett

September 27 @ 8:00 am 12:00 pm EDT

Marsh along the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal seen from the Saltmarsh Spur Trail, by Chris Bennett

Explore diverse habitats seeking fall migrants at Cape Henlopen!

Songbirds, seabirds, shorebirds, raptors and more can be seen in Cape Henlopen State Park’s diverse habitats during fall migration.  From the Point to Herring Point and in the forests in between we will hopefully find both common migrants and uncommon or rare vagrants.  We will walk trails which can have both ticks and chiggers.  Insect repellent is recommended.  State Park entrance fee is in effect.
