Explore Alapocas Woods
Visit an oasis within the city of Wilmington with good successional field habitat, mature woodlands and the Brandywine River. We will walk about 3 miles on very accessible trails. Construction along the Brandywine is completed so this should be a much more productive walk than what we have experienced in the past 2 years. Target birds include migrating warblers and thrushes, year-round residents and arriving winter residents. If response is good, this will be a monthly recurring event.
