Winter birding in New Jersey!
Join Andy for an all day trip to Brigantine and Barnegat. We’ll leave from the Claymont Train Station at 7 am to drive to Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. Will arrive at Forsythe around 8 am and drive the auto tour (National Wildlife Refuge pass required per car) looking for waterfowl and winter raptors. We”ll then drive an hour north to Barnegat Light on Long Beach Island to catch the afternoon sun to see Harlequin Ducks, Eiders and Alcids. Return home by 6 pm.
