Dr. Todd Klawinski is the Director of Education for the Delaware Nature Society (DelNature). He holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Wilmington University and has over two decades of experience as an educator, biologist, and advocate for environmental literacy. Todd began his career studying pinelands ecosystems at Stockton University in southern New Jersey and doing field research at Rutgers University Cooperative Extension. He later taught Biology and Environmental Science, led zoo education programs in Texas, and helped integrate outdoor learning and sustainability into Delaware public schools. Todd continues to champion hands-on environmental and sustainability education. He’s passionate about connecting people from young learners to adults with nature while fostering kind, engaged communities.
