Alapocas Woods

Come join Sally O'Byrne at Alapocas State Park for an early morning hunt for a variety of migrants, but particularly thrushes and warblers.  During the last breeding bird atlas, this was the only place in the state that had a Rose-breasted Grosbeak nest, and even though its location is quite urban, it boasts an unexpectedly good diversity of birds.  The Paw-Paw trees will be in full blossom as well as a variety of woodland ephemeral wildflowers.
