DESCRIPTION:Rusty Blackbird by Carolyn Holland \n\n\n\nExplore Delaware’s Premier Urban Wildlife Refuge!\n\n\n\nClose the week with an easy walk along the Jack A Markell Trail at the Peterson Refuge near the Wilmington Riverfront.   We will begin about 2 hours before sundown and cover about 2 miles\, mostly on boardwalk with a bit of woodland trail thrown in.  The sights and sounds of a freshwater marsh in evening are a great stress-reliever and will fortify you for the week ahead.  \n\n\n\nNext walk: January 25\, 2026 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm \n\n\n\nMeet by the Russell Peterson statue in the parking area for the DuPont Environmental Education Center.
