SUMMARY:Big Sit at First State National Historical Park with Declan O’Neil
DESCRIPTION:View for the Big Sit by Declan O’Neil \n\n\n\nYellow-bellied Sapsucker by Declan O’Neil\n\n\n\nJoin the Big Sit!\n\n\n\nA “big sit” is a unique birding event where as many birds as possible are counted from one stationary location. Providing a scenic view of the Brandywine Valley\, the large hill at First State National Historical Park is an ideal big-sitting spot!  \n\n\n\nOur main targets will be migrating raptors and songbirds in addition to resident species. Past rarities seen from the hill at First State include Short-eared Owl\, Orange-crowned Warbler\, and Sandhill Cranes\, so we’ll make sure to keep our eyes peeled!  \n\n\n\nThis is a casual event\, so feel free to come and go as you please.
