This Saturday (3/25): De Museum of Natural History Shorebird Workshop – Avian Skin Study

Posted · Add Comment

This workshop is full!  Like shorebirds? Consider joining us this summer for Andy Urquhart & Eric Braun’s Shorebird ID Workshop (no skins) with classroom and field work at Bombay Hook on August 19th, or one or both of our annual shorebird trips with Bob Rufe (on July 22nd) or Frank Rohrbacher (on August 20th).  You’ll find more information about these and other trips in the field trip section of our website.  Also, watch for more avian skin studies when our new field trip year starts next fall.

In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to view, study and discuss the skins of a variety of migrant and breeding shorebirds.

This workshop is free but space is limited and registration is required by contacting Jean Woods at jwoods@delmnh.org or (302-658-9111 ext. 314).  Age 16 and over unless accompanied by a parent.

The workshop will be held at the Delaware Museum of Natural History on Saturday, March 25th from 9:30-11:30am.
