Spend the morning with Bill Stewart exploring the varied and bird-rich habitats on the DuPont Estate “Granogue” during prime songbird migration. Finish the morning with hawkwatching from atop the famous Granogue watertower with a 360° view for miles over top of the Brandywine River Valley.

A note from Bill:

Please plan to join me and others for a unique DOS Field Trip to the DuPont Estate, “Granogue”€, for a morning birdwalk and finishing with some hawk watching atop the water tower.

Pre-registration is required to attend by emailing me at <>, directions and other info will be shared upon registration.

We will be starting at 7:30 AM with a few hours of exploring the many varied bird-rich habitats found on the estate and along the Brandywine River valley, concluding with a trek up the steps of the water tower for a panoramic view in search of migrating raptors. Depending upon the bird activity, we will plan on ending around 11:00 or later.
