Kestrel Project
Delaware American Kestrel Project
DOS is continuing our research study of the American Kestrel (Falco sparverius) in Delaware. Our goal is to survey the
current breeding and wintering Kestrel population in Delaware,
identify reasons for their declining numbers here, and develop strategies to stabilize the population.
For more information or if you have any questions you may contact one of our Kestrel Project working group: Derek Stoner, Bruce Lantz (committee chair), or Sally O'Byrne. (Photo of male Kestrel by Larry Graff)
