Forrest Rowland has been hired as the full-time Hawk Watch Coordinator for the season. The Hawk Watch began operating on Tuesday, September 4th and will continue until December 1st, Tuesday through Sunday. Hours of operation are 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Delaware Nature Society and DOS members are welcome to visit any time during these hours free of charge. Others will be asked to pay the trail fee of $2 per adult and $1 for children.

This year I'm going to try something new. I'm attempting to find new fieldtrips which I will add to the schedule throughout the year. To stay informed on any newly added field trips please check back to Dosbirds.org. In addition, all added fieldtrips will be posted to de-birds and the DOS members only list-serv with as much notice as possible.
