Wilmington Peregrine Falcon Webcam Project logo

Welcome to one of the webcams for Wilmington’s breeding pair of Peregrine Falcons. We know you will enjoy this opportunity to watch these amazing birds as they go through courtship, egg laying, hatching and fledging of the new falcons.  Now in it’s sixth year, the Wilmington Peregrine Falcon Webcam Project has successfully streamed the falcons’ behavior and life-and-death events into the homes, offices and classrooms of thousands of loyal viewers.

In January of 2016, we replaced a single camera with two HD cameras with sound and close-up viewing for an even more intimate view of the falcons.  To make all of this possible, partnerships have been formed to financially support the costs associated with the equipment, installation and streaming of the webcam. Our generous supporters and sponsors include:  Pepco Holdings/Delmarva Power, United States Fish & Wildlife Service, DNREC, Wild Birds Unlimited (Hockessin), Delmarva Ornithological Society, Citigroup, Inc., Buccini-Pollin Group and numerous Facebook viewers and fans!

We truly hope you return often to experience this cherished look into the lives of Wilmington’s Peregrine Falcons and their family to be!  For additional resources on our falcons, please visit the falcons’ Facebook page for further updates.  For some history on the falcons, please visit Wilmington Falcons.
