- Sussex Bird Club - Sharon Lynn, captain, Sandy Spence, Richard Faull, Paula Sullivan, Bill Young
- $3,100.00 + 115 species = 3215 total points
Special mention must go out to the St. Ann's School and Mrs. O'Callahan's 4th grade class who raised (and had a great time) $1300.00!
Outstanding support came from all three counties, 11 different states, the Maryland Ornithological Society and DuPont's "Clear Into the Future" Initiative for the Delaware River Estuary.
The collected funds totaled..................................$28,018.00!!!
The benefiting vital shorebird habitat is currently under contract and will go to closing in July just in time for the southern shorebird migration.
